Laura Combs is proud to say that she was born and raised in Austin, TX. At an early age she cultivated a love of music by singing in church choirs from the age of 5 and taking piano lessons from the age of six. During high school she earned numbers vocal awards as well as earning top ratings in UIL solo and ensemble competitions. She attended Southwest Texas State University and studied Music Education and Performance.

 

Laura later studied voice with Robert Galvan and was a member of the Austin Choral Union and was a guest soloist with numerous choirs around Austin. She has also taken several trips to different parts of Mexico with Spirit Rain International.

 

Today Laura enjoys working with the youth band and the children’s choir at her church. Laura believes that music is a wonderful gift for everyone to enjoy and wants to help anyone who has a desire to excel.
